Very Merry Theatre is a nonprofit organization funded through contributions
from individuals and organizations, grants, summer camp tuition, and sales of
advertising in our summer season playbill. Some Very Merry Theatre school
productions receive financial support from the school's PTO.

for an expanding number of children in northern Vermont communities to
experience the positive impact of participating in performing arts.

Very Merry Theatre is pleased to announce
the launch of All Children Take Center Stage, our new initiative
that aims to enable all interested children to participate in Very Merry Theatre
productions throughout the year regardless of financial means.
Through this program, Very Merry hopes to increase access to this
unique theater experience while promoting exposure to classical literature
in our northern Vermont schools and communities.

All Children Take Center Stage currently encompasses:

a scholarship program
to enable children in need of financial support
to participate in Very Merry summer camps
and productions (open to all children ages 6-18)

collaborations with community youth centers
to provide Very Merry programming to
children in low-resource neighborhoods

the launch of the WigWag! StageFest
in July 2007—Burlington's 1st annual
children's performing arts festival

the planned creation of a second
Very Merry traveling theater wagon
that will replicate the Charlotte summer program
in Burlington, enabling more children to enjoy
the summer fun of Very Merry productions.

financial compensation to the artists, counselors,
and other high school and college-age theater artists
who generously provide their talents and inspiration
to the Very Merry experience.
